I believe I have seen the testing of the new design for 468*60 and 250*250 blocks with the lines separating the single ads one from another. Here is a couple of screenshots: http://runningclam.com/2008/04/18/google-experimenting-with-adsense-design/

    Have you seen it?

Interesting. This will probably lower the CTR of MFA's since they won't be able to masquerade their ads being content as much as before.

But what is those two lines that strike through the text on the second image?

My guess is that it's just a CSS glitch. Perhaps, in the Firefox 2.0, IE and Safari it works as intended - one line above the ads and one below right above the "Ads by Google" image.

This is not a new design feature but the ads are not shown correctly due to some glitch in the network or the ad code was not placed incorrectly !

its not new, some people do this to make ads more appealing. I have seen this on few other blogs.
    ofcourse this is against TOS.

This can't be against TOS because it's done by Google not a webmaster :)

I dont think Google has done this, it looks more like some sort of onsite CSS trick.

It was on my site. So I can assure you this is not onsite CSS trick.

"new design for 468*60 and 250*250 blocks"

The 250*250 is new design? Are you sure?

I put the 250*250 in my site 9 months ago, and I still use it :)
