I currently own a different website using banner, and text ads, then I heard about Affiliate Marketing, and they say it gives you payments based on how many people sign up and buy things. Now I was refered to commision junction, so I signed up and made an account. Now I look at this page, and I'm just overwhelmed by all the complicated menus and protocols. How exactly do you get started? I'm planning to promote dating websites, but it seems like they need approval and I'm still waiting for it, even more I don't know what requirements you need to get approved. It would certainly ease me if you guys could offer me some advice. ~Trent
1. Submit Your W-8 or W-9 Form: First thing is first, before you get paid you'll need to fax in your W-9 or W-8 form. W-9 is a tax form for U.S. residence and can be found at the http://www.irs.gov website. W-8 form is basically the same tax form EXCEPT for people outside of the U.S. 2. Add a Website to Your Account: Add your website to your CJ account. 3. Apply for Each Program Your Interested In: Apply for each program your interested in. Some allow instant acceptance, some require manual approval. Hopefully that should get you started... good luck
Thanks for the prompt reply, do any of you know how long the approval takes because it been one day and its still pending approval.
thanks for the post, I'm glad someone has mentioned this, I thought I may be the only one who thought so. how could one of the biggest, get it so wrong when it comes to being user friendly. I stopped using them some time ago because of this problem
