    Okay Software Development is making software, not web based programs. So PHP would be out based on strictly Software Development. Web Development would use PHP. As for Software Development, JAVA is a very powerful language, and is also fairly easy to program. It would be good for big programs. You might want to look into Visual Studio 2008 for customers wanting easy projects, as that will make it easy to create simple, even complex programs at a high rate.

    if i am not wrong php and java programming project means u want to start web development or webhousing firm.

    I still thing the sites, like rAC and Freelancer are the best places to go. Start small and cheap and if your good your get a lot of work.
