Cheapest TLD?

Hi guys what currently is the cheapest TLD on the go?

And where are the best places to get that TLD.

I would rather have top level ones and not mysite.net.tw style

Domain whois privacy must be free or mega cheap also!
    Paypal should be an option!

I found .info from godaddy at $1.19 and free whois privacy if buying 5+. But godaddy killed my account for "abuse/spam/fruad" which is rubbish i hadnt even used them yet!

.cn is 1euro on dd24.net but no whois protection

So any where else to get cheap .info domains or other tlds?

For other tlds you can use the coupon code which will bring the price low.

Try domainsite.com and dynadot. If you are looking .info at low price. However you need to add some fee in order to get whois privacy.

This seems like the best offer so far!!

Namecheap etc dont seem to be able to compare!

I asked namecheap (As all my .coms are with them) why they sell .cn domains for almost $30 while dd24.net sells them for 1euro, their answer was they have staff who have family's to feed

They might be a tad costlier, but they have a great control panel, and their support is incredibly quick to reply to any question.

Info's are $5.88/yr with whoisguard thrown in ( the first year)

No amount of support can justify me spending 5times the price as they are going else where!

What support do you need from a domain registrar?

I never use them for hosting, nor their nameservers.

Once you buy them job done

damn it... and I bought about 50 .info domains from godaddy about a month ago... with 3$/dn...
that's what happens when I'm in a rush...
Last year I bought 20 .cn domain names from eurodns with 1Euro/dn, but they expired, and it now cost 50Euro/dn to renew.

Free domain generally will cause more spamming and thus effect the extension reliability.

Renew your .cn domains with Dyndot, they are offering at 1.99 or 2.99, i think which are alot better,

I recommend transfering to the DYNADOT.

directdot.com have actually said they will credit back money to my account if i buy 35+ domains at a go which ends up matching godaddys $1.19 price hopefully with out the 4 days hassle attached

From my little research i think one of their staff members posted in here  hopefully they are legit!

I wont paste as do not want to get any one in trouble!

    --

Guys, i just used directdot.com to buy 34domains, i can not rate them highly enough!

I emailed them with a few presales questions and got replys very quickly

I asked them could they match godaddys price for .info domains - they indeed did.

Their website blows godaddys site away, it was a pleasure to use.

Free whois privacy stuff, cheap, fast service, unverified paypal, hassle free. I am blown away really! Other companys should take notes from these guys.

So to end this thread, directdot.com was my choice :D

(Their .info promotion ends tomorrow i believe, make it your choice!)
