How about we show google we mean business and we deserve higher payouts. I suggest/urge everyone to participate in the blackout on 4/30!! Just remove your adsense from your site for the day.
You can replace with someone else’s ad but just no google ads.
Who is in this with us?
We shouldn’t be bullied around and be afraid whether or not adsense will ban us tomorrow.
This will be a strong message to them.

    Spread the word!!

i'd say it wouldn't do anything is theres no way you could even get this thread out to .01% of the sites publishing adsense

I don't see the rational behind it, if you feel that Adsense under pay you just look for a new advertiser that pay you more. That's it, why organize such actions?

You spend precious time organizing unfruitful blackout operations, while you could spend the time generating content and optimizing your website for search engines. If you would do that you would notice that within months you would no longer waste your thoughts on boycotting adsense.

If you however decide to continue with your "mission impossible", you will after 6 months be exactly in the same spot you are now; Blaming Adsense For Low Revenue.

Like that would work, and any one considering it wouldn't be making much $$ from google anyway (why miss out on a days money form a high $$ site?), so would make no difference.

Exactly. If you don't like adsense, there are many alternatives and you are free to choose the one that suits you the best.

i don't think will succeed , is too complicated even if i feel sometimes we should be paid better... do you think someone will care if you remove your ads ? i will tell you why ...

Only people making few cents / day will remove the ads but big publishers making 1000 $ - 25.000$ will not ... so who you think will care about ? will fail 99.9%

You should learn how to make money from adsense. Not mourn because its difficult. Go anywhere on the internet, nobody will pay you better and give as relevant ads.

Best of luck on your blackout. I sense your frustration, but instead of trying to go about change in this regard, why not try looking at ways you can increase your revenue? How can you improve your existing sites to increase your CTR and CPC? Perhaps look at new niches to get into. As suggested by others, look at other monetization methods if you are unhappy with AdSense payouts. I think that is your better solution.

we are not in some kind of union that will go on a strike or something. i don't see how this can work. in fact i don't even see it being any valid protest. google shares certain % of the revenue it gets from its advertisers and cannot pay us more even if google wants. they need to stay in the business as well and make profit for thier shareholders. the way google share is doing for the past frew months, increasing payout to adsense publishers will make google take a bigger nose dive
