    Hi,

Does anyone here have good experience with affiliate programs in your signature and how well does it convert?

    Thanks!

I use all the programs in my sig every day, except Worldniche. I haven't had time to work with them a lot. My top three convert to sales every single day, I'm making on average $200-$300 in profit daily right now. Spending about $150 or so PPC to get there.

I'm also curious as to how many people who put in their affiliate links are actually selling, as opposed to what I think is happening and that is trying to get two-tier signups and hoping someone on their two-tier actually sells.

Anyone care to say whether they are selling, recruiting two-tier, or actually doing both :). I'll venture a guess that 75% are recruiting, and 25% are both recruiting and selling the products. Could even be as high as 90% to 10% as I think that maybe some people have made a few sales, but don't make sales on a regular basis.

I know some affiliate programs that pay for signups on two levels: 1) CPA - get paid for each member that joins the networks and then 2) Commission sharing - Usually 10% of your referrals sales with the given network. I have a site in my signature line and can't say how well it converts as I promote the site at length via several forums and also many other promotional methods.

I'd recomend using a CPA / Commission fusion for your second tier affiliate as you'll still get paid a few dollars for each signup and also make money if you get lucky with a top affiliate. I appreciate that Digital Point allows the signature lines and it's great that they believe in revenue sharings. Concurrently, I feel it's abused sometimes when members post simply "see my signature line" in response to posters who ask for advice. You should get credit and free signups for posting but I think it goes two ways; help the forum build page rank and SEO by posting, help other digital point members by connecting them with important information and provide the DP readers with valuable information and insight; get rewarded in return. Best of luck to you and I'm interested in the conversions others see from their signature lines.

I place links in my sig that I feel are good companies to work with. That being said yes I do it to get 2nd tier sign up's but also offer help to those that sign up through my link a good profitable start with the company.

I am using MarketHealth extensively and it is the main focus of my internet marketing business....sales daily....around $300-400 a day from it...

The other is Wealthy Affiliate and without it I wouldn't be making the above from MarketHealth...structured learning and a killer forum

I get lots of clicks through my sig link and I'm getting modest sales. I'm not trying to recruit for 2nd tier, because with Wealthy Affiliate, you only get $2 for 2nd tier sales.

I think it depends on what program it is and if it is related to forum topic. If site is for webmaster submission and advertising would work good.

Well I not 100% shure that all clicks come from DP. But I'm active only on one more webmaster forum, but that one is very small - around 200 active users. So I guess most clicks have to come from here. i don't have referral links on any of my sites. This month I just got paid from passion.com (a.f.f. network), 74.44$ only from referral bonuses.
