Is wrestling real?

It's real acting, and some serious training behind it. I can't stand watching it, but I gotta respect the effort they put into it.

 

When I first started watching it, I thought it was real and I was disappointed to learn that it wasn't. Then I started to see the signs myself that the fights were staged, like the all too convenient trick of distracting the referee while the "bad guys" did something illegal to the other team.

But I do admire them for the stunts they have to do, the danger they put themselves in to put on a show, and trying to make it look as 'real' as possible (even if some are better at it than others).

I once heard it described as soap opera for men. But hey, some of us ladies enjoy it too.

 

It is a fraud. They will make you fool. Instead do something better

Some of it's real but most of it is made for tv.

 

wrestling is a totally waste of time, i puke just by looking at it. Big fat guys in a gym suits with their underwear outside these suites is simply disgusting.

Better to use ur time to work or watch something you can learn from.

 

they are real "PRO" Wrestlers. Its a show. AMERICAN GLADIATORS IS THE REAL THING, lol. The hulkster brought that back.

Of course it's not real. If i hit you with a chair you don't get hurted? Well, they don't

It is, but not all of it. All actings are f...ed up for sure.

 

thats all fake. their tricks can be figured easily.

 

Put it like this if you are a wrestling fan you understand, if not you never will. But i'll try to explain.

It's scripted, predetermined and they don't go out their to hurt each other, but....

They travel 300+ days a year, have no off season and can lose their lives if they are just a second off executing a move right. It hurts, the mat isn't a trampoline, chairs, tables, weapons are REAL they just use them as lightly as possible (they often get concussions) - most wrestlers never reach old age because they are too banged up or die of heart issues related to steroids or pain pill addiction/recreational drugs.

They have the hardest most under appreciated job in the world.

Imagine having to act, be ripped like a bodybuilder, go 30 minutes without getting tired, take legitimate painful bumps, make sure you don't accidentally kill the other guy and travel for months without proper contact with your family all for a fat smartass kid to say hey thats fake anyone can do it.

Pro Wrestling is scripted that's why it's referred to as sports entertainment instead of sports. The outcome of the matches is predetermined that's why people say it's fake.

 

definitely not real for me. I prefer those martial art fighting more especially Thai Boxing.

 

WWE wrestling is rehearsed fights. Basically acting for entertainment, but they can get injured.
