Sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything but I was curious to know if you are allowed to put adsense on sites such as the RAF, SAS and other military sections.

I have emailed google asking but I don't expect a reply anytime soon :)

    Thanks for any input

A friend of mine had the some problem before. It seems that you can have Adsense ads on the site as long as there is no sale or promotion of any time of weapon on your site

To be honest the site will be more informational opposed to advertising and selling if that makes a difference.

I would see what they say on this, it may be ok, depending on the text.

That's what I'm going to do, I've stopped writing the content for now just incase so can leave it on hold until they reply - if they do.

I've got other sites to be working on for now anyway :)

Right I got a response from them which stated:

It's pretty generic but I took a look at the policy and the only similar thing I could find related to the military was that you cannot sale or promote weapons and ammo - which I don't so I take it I will be fine to use this niche.

It's not against the tos and you have that email to cover you. As long as there's no profanity, graffic pics or your selling weapons you won't be bothered
