CJ has dried up for me - what now?

Since moving all my sites over to ePN, I'm not really bringing in anything with the other CJ advertisers. Any suggestions for tools/software to build sites for other CJ advertisers/products? I've played around a bit with Popshops. Anything similar to that?

Build a blog or website with a simple CMS.

Insert high quality articles relevant to the products you're promoting. Heck, write an article about the product you're promoting itself, maybe "review" style.

    Insert product link(s).

Get deep links back to these articles.

    See SE rank and traffic.

    See sales.

Maybe something I build is interesting ...

    Affiliateblogbuilder.com

What it does is import products from CJ.com into a wordpress blog. It has optional features like dripfeeding, rewrite the descriptions automaticly and as it's an addon for wordpress you can use any plugin to make it a seo niche machine

For instance let's say I'm trying to sell Ipod Speakers. I put up my store fill it with Ipod Speaker Products. Then write some articles/reviews with links (affiliate links or links to the product pages on the site?), post the articles on my site and submit them to article directories. Then when you say get deep links, you mean a link back to these articles on my site from some relevant site, but not from the home page of the relevant site, yes?

Wasn't the poster asking about campaign recomendations for Commission Junction? I'm not sure you're allowed to send posters to your signature linein any case... It quickly turns the conversation from what campaigns can help the origional poster in commission junction to dozens of posters trying to get referrals who simply write "check out my signature link for some other random network..."

Personally I don't submit articles found on my site to article directories. I think there might be duplicate content pentalties, but I'm not sure - better safe than sorry I guess.

You don't really have to worry about the quality of article directory articles as much as you do articles for your own site - your only concern for article directory articles is getting them approved and getting your links live on the article directory.

Each article I write for my sites are targeted towards a specific keyword. In your example, Ipod Speakers, I would write articles for the different kinds of speakers.

For example, there's the Exspect Shuffle Speaker. I would write an article about this product and post it with an affiliate link to where they can purchase this kind of speaker. Once this article is posted on my site, I would get links directly to the article with the linked anchor text being Exspect Shuffle Speaker.

Once google sees the keyword link, and the keyword targeted article, your rankings are going to raise in SERPs for the keyword "Exspect Shuffle Speaker" or possibly even "Shuffle Speaker" or some other varation. You will get people interested in Exspect Shuffle Speakers coming directly to this article from Google, which will eventually get you sales - how soon depends on variables like traffic, demand for the product, etc....

I have been testing deep links vs home page links. I think deep links are better because you will get more long tail traffic, which is more targeted and ranking is easier because they are less competitive. Nabs also advocates deep links over home page links, so when he said 90% of his links are deep links I just went with that strategy.
