    naukri.com or jeevansathi.com or monster.com or shaadi.com....

what would be the points of analysis....

what are the seo gaps in these high traffic sites... all these sites get huge traffic... and rank on the top in google and other search engines.....

Still if you want to make them better what steps will you take.........

This would depend on the individual site, if it's already well established and receiving a large volume of traffic the site doesn't need a "cookie cutter" approach. The actual site would need to be analyzed along with the target demographics, and other sites in that vertical to bring out the finer points.

These finer points could be anything from optimizing the server cluster due to slow pageloads to improve visitor retention, or enhancing a call to action to boost sales.

Your question can't be answered generally, well not answered properly.

    thanks for the reply.... :)

But the main problem is that I need to find out the seo gaps in naukri.com....
and I am not able to find those... except for one that the site is targeting a particular region i.e india.

Traffic is not coming from other regions. Rest all is fine according to me...

Can u suggest any seo gaps in this site....

I didn't think you owned it and this was a case of.. you have bitten off more than you can chew.

You should just tell the company it's beyond your capability, you see what if i have no clue what i'm talking about or i'm a competitor in that niche? I will tell you completely the wrong things to do, and next thing these peoples business and livelyhood comes crashing down around them.

No offense but this happens all too often, people who shouldn't be optimizing their neighbors pet goldfish home page in charge of the optimization strategy of a large revenue generating business. It never ends good.

    E.g. (Naukri.com)

As Job operators revamp their portals to enable a new era in JOB web browsing, they're putting big-name brands up front to attract users and the revenues they bring

The operators are focusing on their internet propositions because of the potential revenues they see from offering a more compelling service.

such an approach relies on consumers experiencing a good service when they access the portal. The walled gardens the operators initially put.

    Take own experiences

    E.g

    I am SEO
I received a mail from naukri.com (I am register user) for the Post of SEO But I getting mail for different post that is software. Design, HR, etc., some time dead date
    1) When I see this type of mail, first option is my delete (means u have lost one user)
    2) I have told 5 people regarding this mail (mouth marketing) --------------5 lost
    3) In this type how u will increase your traffic
    4) In India all know naukri.com (But naukri.com don’t know what services they are providing)

can you increase Traffic (trusted name naukri .com but untrusted services .

They are India based sites and they have NOT done any SEO. They have spend millions on Media coverage and have got enough solid links that they can twist the rules. They are NOT good examples as its like wiki. Google don't care if there pages are SEO'ed or not, as they know what wiki is about and any wiki page borns with inherited seo value.

Does the traffic from google or any other search engine depends upon the validity of the site according to The W3C??

If Yes, is it a valid point for SEO Gaps in the site we are discussing??

    hi,

Traffic is not depend on Validity of site according to W3C, but it is part of optimization. traffic depend on ranking position ( SERPs ), job site like naukri.com timesjobs.com etc with many keywords related to job is not in Top rank postion but only with few keywords. most of the traffic of yours site has been raised by Paid not by organic. Please hire a Expert SEO
