SEO Question? Submit article to Top 10 to 15 directories or hundreds of directories?

I was going to submit my article to hundreds of article directories, but wanted to come here 1st and get some advice from experienced marketers.

What's best for SEO? Submitting your article to just the top 10 to 15 article directories or submitting to hundreds of article directories.

 

the more the better.

i run an article website i would love you to submit to. of course submit to the leading sites first, but a backlink is a backlink!

i would say post it everywhere, especially if your trying to build relevant back links. I use article post robot and submit the same article to 300 different directories with no problems.


I would not suggest posting the same article on your site though.

Isnt that considered a duplicate if you submit the same article to that many websites. I was considering doing that,but i was worried google might look at that as a duplicate and penalize my site.

 

Example, if you had submitted to 10 directories only, and it got reprinted thousands of times would you get penalized? I thought it. Look at it that way.

 

I don't think you'll get penalized for all those duplicates, but they probably won't be helping you any.

 

I would submit to none and put it on my site instead, that way i get all the traffic, revenue and people linking directly to my article on my site.

 

1) Write Fresh and Quality content for your site and also update in your website. also check targeted keywords in your article.

2) and You can publish in only 50 to 60 Quality Article Directories.

That would be the best for our site.

More submission make keywords stuffing, so u have submit 10 to 15 in good article directory give u better result

 

Unique and quality articles should be submitted to good quality article dirs.
But if your purpose is mainly traffic, then yes, you can submit it to as many article dirs as you can.

 

submitting to many you may get get quantity links but not quality,find some sites that is related to your niche and just submit to those quality sites of your niche.

This is a good advice, I myself would prefer to get quality links rather than quantity. just my 2 cents.

 

In order to drive QUALITY traffic to your site, I recommend submitting your article to 4-5 HIGH AUTHORITY directories. The best directory I know of is D-Moz, others include "Best of the World", "Joe Ant", & "Skaffe". The problem with submitting your article to a large number of directories is that the search engines will find out that:

a) you have duplicated content all over the web
b) many directories that contain your article have a completely different niche,

As a result, if you submit your articles to dozens and dozens of low authority directories you will not benefit, and you may even get penalized or go down in ranking. However, if you submit to just a FEW high ranking directories that are relevant to your niche, it will definitely help increase traffic to your site.

 

Thanks for the advice. Im going to submit to the top 15 article directories and try and focus on quality links and not quantity. My goal is to move up in the search engines. Right now im on page 3 for 5 important keywords and i want to get to page 1.

 

Submission to high PR article directory sites is good. If you want more backlinks than submit to more article directory sites.
