What do the factories in your town/area make?

besides that: Beef going to Japan and large Ethanol plants

 

Steel back in the 60's but now it's all pretty much gone and done. I know there is like V&M Tubing, Gia Russa foods, Dia Russa Sausages, GM - Lordstown Plant - Chevy Cobalts and G5's, and of course the sub-plants for the Cobalt. Also, a factory called Taylor Winfield makes a variety of things for overseas machines and junk. Of course a lot of places have lost jobs (we're very heavy in manufacturing or we used to be now it's going away slowly but surely to China) and yes this is the Mahoning Valley, not just Youngstown Ohio.

 

Believe it or not, Chinese steel is the main reason your mom and dad wear a blue Best Buy polo or a blue Wal-Mart vest instead of a hard hat and boots to work.

 

Oh, trust me. Anyone from former steel areas know this all too well. That's why a lot of people in our area don't buy Chinese goods.

Its in India. One my friend works in some Architectural Office.
