ppc vs. SEO

I am currently running 3 newer sites. To date I have been promoting them with Adwords. But I have been looking into SEO. Think it would be more cost affective? and get me better results? If so, what are some good companies?

    thanks

SEO if done properly can return a much higher ROI than PPC; considering adwords is so saturated to begin with.

Seo is better than pay per click. Once you learn how to make a site rank well you can do it for any site you want to make. It is free traffic once they rank well so you make more with the same amount of traffic.

I guess if your under the assumption no one else in your field has any idea about SEO, but that is a great illusion we all wish was possible. ;)

You are in a great position, the data from your PPC campaign is highly valuable when applying organic SEO. Your PPC data provides information on keywords and phrases that convert, their click-through rates, competition and generally how valuable a #1 organic placement is worth for the various terms in your niche.

Keyword tools are not accurate, and a #1 ranking may even provide good traffic if selected well but their conversion value is not known until you rank and gather data which takes time and effort.

Having this info from your PPC provides a great shortcut to optimize for keywords that have the highest conversion rates and the lowest organic competition.

If your SEO doesn't grab this data with both hands, i'd strongly advise to look for another one. With the right SEO it won't take long at all to flip your PPC data in to high conversion organic long-tail traffic, and then move on to higher volume terms.

    I agree with this :)

You can do both for your sites. In SEO, everything is organic and with good quality. PPC can drive an enormous amounts of traffic but can still give low sales. For me, SEO still beats PPC.

PPC means instant cash in my pocket while SEO is a longer term proposition in many cases. For most websites I have both organic and PPC traffic pumping through them at the same time. As long as you're turning a profit from PPC traffic, the traffic still ends up being free traffic.

I'm in favor of using PPC and SEO combination...
If used properly they'll surely result to increased conversions for your sites...
PPC and SEO can go hand to hand with each other...
