How many PR0 backlinks make up one PR10 backlink? similarly How many PR1 backlinks make up one PR10 backlink? How many PR2 backlinks make up one PR10 backlink? How many PR3 backlinks make up one PR10 backlink? How many PR4 backlinks make up one PR10 backlink? and so on... remember I am talikng about the backlinks not the PR of ones own page meaning how many backlinks would increse his own PR ? THIS IS NOT WHAT I AM ASKING!! anyone with any ideas?!!!
The question is not confusing, it's just I doubt someone will be able to give you a solid formula to use for conversions. Google is secretive about what info goes into it and there are more factors than just what shows up on your toolbar PR checker.
wha I mean is that Getting Backlinks from a PR 5 page ; how many would I be needing in order for it to get equivalent to a backlink from 1 PR 7 page for example..
The google alogirithm does not work as you are suggesting. There's not a quantifiable amount of PR0 backlinks that will make up a PR5 site. It's far more complicated than that but noone will be able to give you a solid answer. Sorry. As for I find this incredibly hard to believe. Looks like viral marketing for that watermarked site if you ask me. I know someone who had a site that was about half a page long, he left it for over a year and it was PR2. No backlinking.
I have read someplace (an SEO book or something) that the logarithmic scaling factor that is PR might be something like 7... I.e., a PR2 page has 7 times the juice of a PR1, a PR3 page has 7 times the juice of a PR2 page, and so on. Obviously, I don't know if that's right. But it sort of sounds right... Also, the implications of this seem logical... E.g., moving from PR4 to PR5 is 7 times the work of moving from PR3 to PR4... And all other things being equal a link from a PR6 page is about 350 times as valuable as a link from PR3 page (because 7 times 7 times 7 equals 343?)
