I am thinking about starting up a coupon site. What if any affiliate offers coupons so that way users will click on the coupon and be redirected to the advertiser.
We have an advertiser that deals with all sorts of coupons on our network. Sign up using my signature link and we will talk!
The Shareasale network has a coupon and deals database that stores all the coupons for their merchants. It's also available via RSS feed. Actually I believe all the major CPS affiliate networks have something similar.
You can always ask me for a little discount. $699 is for multi site version with support. Give it a try for $99 per year or get 1 site license without support for $199. By the way, we did not do any promotion at all for our demo site, and it made us about $80 in commission for this November. So even $699 will pay for itself in 8 month.
The market might be saturated but even if there's competition, there's traumendous demand by consumers online for coupon codes and access to special offers. It only takes a few coupon pages with solid SEO to rack up huge commissions. In my opinion, it's in many ways about your research capability and the way you compile your coupons; give the best discounts and creating a very solid coupon page and your background research and scope of offerings can be a niche within the coupon business entirely on its own.
