Any attendees from DP to PubCon Las Vegas 2008?

    I'll be there this year for the first time. Anyone else planning to go to PubCon 2008 from DP?

    yea, but beside meeting those people, what's the point? They talk about stuff that is either on the web already or will be on the web (as ppl attended pubcon are going to blog about it)

    I would like to go if i need to network with those ppl (already doing that with facebook) but since i don't, not interested:D (and how much you have to pay for it?)

    You know it's not the same :) I'd rather listen to them live, see them speaking. No one can blog about the exact things they spoke about now, can they? Plus, meeting them is not that easy on the internet, not at all. I believe it's a great organisation. Last year, it was $500, I don't know about this year. Doesn't matter anyway :)
