Hello everybody, whats going on? I'm new to this whole thing. Google Adsense. Everybody's talking about it, so i figured i'd join in and see where this can go. People are making serious money with this! I'm just a 20 year old guy whose looking for some extra income, heh. After much reading, and browsing the forums, it seems like a lot of people fail but if done right and smart, you can succeed. And I'm willing try do whatever it takes, to make it up there! If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions.......... 1. Does Google Adsense support Microsoft Office.live websites? (Completely free website, free hosting, for a year though. no small monthly/yearly fees) meaning, can i put adsense on these kind of websites? After a year, I plan on buying a actual domain/website but for now, I'm just taking whatever's free. Does anyone have a website built on this? Its limited, but has easy tools and requires no HTML 2. after much thinking and reading, I've come up with 2 topics but I can't decide on which one to build my website on. 1. Weight Loss or 2. Flat stomachs & Abs. People search about these things everyday, and it seems websites that are about these, get a huge amount of traffic. With 20-40 pages full of information, and adsense on each of those pages... the amount of of traffic will be good, right? 3. How exactly does the website "keywordsdatabase.com" work? It shows the highest paying adsense keywords on the front page. As of April 4, 2008. It says "dui lawyer newport beach, $87.88" is #1. What does the $87.88 mean? Thats how much people make with websites about that a day or click?!? 4. Is there a Top 10 best keywords list? (updated) Something that makes a ton from adsense? keywords thousands/millions of people go to everyday. I noticed some people here like to keep it a secret and don't like to reveal to other people what their site is about. I don't get it. There are ton of websites that help you find most-searched-keywords and real-popular-websites. It just takes 10 minutes browsing around the forums to find these sites that help you find a popular topic, to build your site on freekeywords.wordtracker.com adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/index.php keywordsdatabase.com I'll probably have more questions later, but till then thats it. thanks in advance! This is going to be quite an experience!
1. should do, I doubt microsoft specifically doesnt allow it 2. id maybe go for #2, it's more specialist and so potentially less competition 3. that is probably per click of your advertisement. but the person who got that much probably doesnt get it every click, just managed to get it on one advertisement
TRUST ME... you don't want to build up a site for a year only to THEN get your own domain/hosting. What I suggest is AT LEAST get your own domain but have it hosted free w/ blogger or something... DEF. not Office!
thanks for the advice! after a year, when this expires, don't they give me the option to "buy" it? since ive been using it free for a year? Right now, there are pretty much no 100% free domain names (only subdomains like freewebs.yournamehere.com for example). The only reason I picked microsoft office live is because everything is 100% free up until a year, unless anybody else can recommend something different? I spent 2 hours today trying to find a completely free hosting/free domain (not sub), site & had no luck. It seems there are none out there? not even temporarily
i just started building the site. Should i stop? I know microsoft office isn't that great, but its free and the tools are easy and self explanetory. A bit limited though
