I agree! It would be very nice to see Yahoo make some money and re-invest it into their Adense alternative. :)

Advertisers are probably catching on to the fact that the ROI is better on YPN then on Adwords (at least in my niches).

Either way, Google and Yahoo competition is good for us Webmasters...

But it is a pity Microsoft share of the pie declined. Hopefully Yahoo did not gain from Microsoft loss.

That is faked News because of Microsoft. Yahoo wants more money and they want to show Microsoft, that Yahoo costs more than 45 Billion dollars.
I cannot believe this News because Millions of Webmasters are using Google adsense and maybe hundred thousands of Webmasters the Yahoo's ad on their website. I think that makes sense that Yahoo can never make so much money.

Hmm, ameran may have a point here. Aren't M$ and Yahoo! still in discussion?

Business can be brutal, so something like this would not surprise me. Just last week (I think) Yahoo agreed to run some Google ads on its network. I must admit it is kind of strange to run Google ads on Yahoo's network if Yahoo is experiencing such positive growth.

yup, chaitanya is right... yahoo wants to make it position stronger in G,
But really i don't like yahoo for search, cz Google has simple and nice look, no much more highlighting.

Ithink that the bid that microsoft did to buy yahoo helped yahoo a lot, and i believe that is the main reason why microsoft reputation went down
I believe that a lot of people when they saw that they start thinking that MS does not have a good advertisement and that MS chose yahoo because Yahoo has what it takes.
I have been a yahoo user for over 10 years now. for a long time I prefered yahoo to google until last month my yahoo email acount got messed up and i lost over 65.000 emails I had stored in it.
It happened few time again last week, so i turned to google for my emailing needs.

Thanks for posting this article. It means I'm going to dust off my YPN account and try some Yahoo ads again for the first time in years. If they are paying better, I can finally realize my lifelong dream of dumping Google from all my pages :)
