Do I submit sub-domains to directories, or just the main domain?

I have 3 sub-domains that I'd like to get indexed swiftly.

    Advice most welcome.
    thanks

Sure thing. Most directories allow it and some don't.

Directories that allow additional deep link submissions should be checked out.

Most paid directories will allow this.

If the subdomain offers substanstially different content than the primary domain you should'nt have any problems.

Like Mike said - choose a quality directory that offers deep links and submit there.

You can submit your subdomains to directories as long as they allow you to do so. Check the guidelines before you submit into directories.

    Hey - thanks guys!

Was not sure whether a subdomain is classed as a deep link or another domain in it's own right? From your comments, it seems to be a deep link ?

    Cheers!

Subdomains are not deep links. the will be treated as separate domains

Ahah, now I get it. I need to check for acceptance of subdomains.... not acceptance of deep links.

    thanks again

I want to use a directory submission service here at DP (not sure who to use).
If any of you guys who offer submission services, I think there is a niche here to check out which directories take subdomain submissions... I'm sure alot of webmasters would be greatful for and use such a specific service.

    regards

Why don't you download some directiry submitter software?
There are some free directory submitters. Just Google.

There is no legit reason a directory won't allow a sub-domain listing. 4 of my best websites are on sub-domains and have no "www" part.

This is an advantage and I think it helps your page rank of your inner pages a lot which is the reason why I offer deep links in my directory. So yeah always submit your sub domains.

Absolutely. Individual directory owners have their own lookout towards things.

From what I have seen, those who even mention no "sub-domains" accept it when they see its Paid. ;) :D

It would be better if you add the pages.
