I have seen, That yahoo indexed pages for a particular website more faster and quickly than the Google. share what you think for the same...
I have noticed the same: Yahoo indexes much quicker than Google nowaday. The thing is very few or no traffic at all from Yahoo.
Actually yahoo, has enough reason to get website indexed in it, It loves back links, whether it's follow or nofollow, But Google see the relevancy of back links that website is gaining rapidly, There is one more thing require to submit sitemap also. So it's clear why yahoo indexes pages much better than Google.
In my opinion Google indexes faster than Yahoo. You can post soimething now in a blog and within 10 min it can be live and in top 10
Frankly google is much faster. chaitanya do have a point...but mind google technology and its results relevancy is unmatched. Moreover it knows better where the regular updations do occur frequently . So obvious it not only crawl but understand the quality of pages much better than any other SE.
it depends per site for me - a few months ago google would index new threads made in my forum in like an hour and yahoo would do it in a day or two - now it's reversed except it takes google up to a week to catch my thread at times i have 77 yahoo bots, 1 google, and 3 MSN bots lol on my forum right now lol
even if yahoo indexes pages fastly google is moore faster when searching..yahoo is full of useless stuff which slows the loading of the page...
Google always index my sites faster than Yahoo. For some reason your site must e very strong in Yahoo and so so in Google. I have no other explanation.
Some sites are indexed faster in google than they are in yahoo and vice versa but why is it like this?
I have a new site, as thread starter said, yahoo first of all indexed pages faster than yahoo, and he is right, Now Google also has indexed my pages, but all those are not cached... see my website link in signature.
Yes yahoo is a bit fast in indexing than Google. I have noticed this in my Keyword that seems so hard to rank in Google.
