Feature request: A direct link to all posts without reply

Days ago I visited one of the Linux forums as a result of a newsletter sent. The newsletter contained a direct link to display all forum posts with 0 replies.

Since time to help/reply sometimes is critical, I found this idea excellent. Often I only look at new posts with 0 replies.

May be vbulletin could have a similar feature in DP forum under "Quick Links" or where ever ?? That might speed up replies for those in urgent need of help.

It's a great idea and it's standard in phpBB (who would have thought it could trump vB at anything?)

It is highly unlikely that this forum will ever get any hacks applied in the near future but there is one solution - go to advanced search and select "at most" "0 replies"

It is a great idea when there are so many posts made here every minute (it seems). It doesn't take long for a thread to be buried down on page three in no time. That may not be the case of course in the non ad forums, but if you are viewing new posts, they sure disappear from sight quick :D

the idea of at most 0 replies is good but fails to work:
    search result is:
Please specify some words or valid user names to search on. There were no matches for those that you specified.

that does NOT solve the problem thus - the need would be ANY/ALL open posts to be really helpful.

I went back to look at the forum I found this feature, its

    http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/lqsearch.php?do=noreplies

I found no forum software name, but it all looks actually very much like the DP vbulletin, may be different version ?

    well that's annoying!

Just looked through the code for search.php and there is no option for 0 posts as a preset search. Would be good to add it but I'm sorry, it's unlikely to happen. We can put it on our mods wish list though ;)

The linux forum is running vB but the search file is non standard.

wish list always is a good idea,
soon si xmas time or mothers day and fathers day ...

finally it's an option that would allow newbies / new questions to be found sooner/faster replied and even more ppl happy re-users of DP forum.

    I found a temporary solution
    in advanced search
    use
    at most 0 replies
( then no need for keyword, I also add "since yesterday" to have only newest ones since my last visit )
then it displays all new posts with 0 reply
however it is impossible to use that as a permanent link since the search gets an ID and next day that search ID is invalid ( I tried that reuse after some 24 hrs )

it also may use more system resources to have a full search across all threads/forums than other possible solutions to this feature
