Every few days, I am tempted to check it more, early days yet, maybe when I start seeing some solid traffic and earnings I will get a tad more excited over the whole thing!
Every hour - I'm sick, I know. Once I start making money perhaps, I'll slow down. On days where I'm making no money, maybe once every two or three hours. I learned I had a dead zone from 7P-10. That the amount of clicks will double from a 10A reading to a 4PM reading. Back checking against my actual site statistics, I learned that 1 out of every 10 visitors will click, plus or minus 5 clicks over 24 hours. That page impressions are for the birds. I've learned to love California for the rush of 12NN clicks. And I also learned that I have really sh*tty keywords. The penny clicks are killing me. I created the site years ago, it wasn't in any way, shape or form MFA. So, I'm creating content for better keywords in my category. See signature. I've learned that non-Google banners for other people with my keywords are good before 12NN. After 12NN, they kill my clicks and don't seem to be converting. I'm in accounting. I obsess about numbers. And yes, when I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I check my clicks then, too. So, whoever the joker was who was going to ask, you don't have to. And, I log all the information down in a notebook, so I can check days and time periods against each other. Help me....
