Same price as Yahoo now. Thats $100 extra per site they'll get. Big bucks heading their way if people think its worth renewing :)

I would rather spend that money with other directories around here.

Boy.. It's better to get included in yahoo. Even paying an editor to get yourself into dmoz would be cheaper :D

I guess with a jump like that it wont go up again after that for a while, plus its the typical promo of get in now before the prices change. :)

I wish all other services were like my ISP, they never increase the price but my speed increases over the years. :)

They're raising their prices by $100? Boy, they must be adding one hell of a lot of features for that money. I bet their links are made out of gold now.

Looks like Business.com is just trying to re-coup the heft price they paid for the most expensive domain purchase in history :p

I agree. I will find somewhere else to spend my money. There are plenty of directories out there that can boost up our site.

I expect there's a few real offline companies that get a good ROI from their business.com listing. It's expensive for those that can't afford it or don't see its worth.

Twice today when doing a bit of research for my writing clients, Google sent me to a page of business.com. As far as I know, it was the first time I was on the site. It looked like I was simply sent to yet another Google search engine wannabe rather than a directory. The descriptions on the pages I was led to were short and not all that directory-esque. Saw nothing that would equal the value of having a listing on Yahoo!. I ended up closing the window and finding what I needed elsewhere.

They might have a million dollar URL but they certainly don't have a directory worthy of those kind of prices - at least based on the 2 pages I saw earlier today.

too expensive IMO I mean its worth it but only if you got money to spend, with that money you could go and submit to other directories and more directories that are also good.

You and me must be twins, buddy. It would have to be a cold day in Hell and I didn't bring any gloves or a hat before I'm paying for a database insertion in a directory. Especially yearly. :D
