    Hi everyone,

Some of you may remember an earlier post where i explained how im suspended everyday because of High Load on the cluster. Some of you mentioned VPS would be the best thing for me. I choose Shinjiru's vps service but I think I need an second opinion from someone more experienced.

Here is a list of each plan http://shinjiru.com/products/vps/index.htm,

I average around 100k page views a day, and over 3000uvs a day and these numbers are rising each day, Which Plan would be the best for a person in my situation. Thanks everyone.

Are you considering Plesk or Windows or cPanel options?

I am asking for the web programing language you are using for your websites, not your computer. PHP, ASP, .NET, JSP? With what kind of database? mySQL? MSSQL? etc

if you are using .net, your only choice is Plesk for Windows. Consider VSW200 or VSW500

Shinjiru is the WORST host i have ever been with.
You can not get more than 200kps transfers from their server to ANYWHERE in the world.
I get more than 200kps from my home ADSL line.(to compare my server in Amsterdam does between 6-8mbps transfer when downloading RPM's and such things)

When you question them about it they tell you that they can get 2mbps from their offices in Malaysia.... so everything is "fine" and "normal", when you start to press them a little about the fact that they are the slowest provider on earth, they get really angry and rude and hostile and start saying that you should have tested them before going with them and that it's all your fault. They clearly admit that 200kps is the MOST you will ever get from their network from outside Malaysia. This is the quote that sticks out in my mind. "Sir Everything is fine here, your customers in Malaysia will be seeing your sites fine and they will load fast for your customers in Malaysia"... meaning anyone outside Malaysia to them is unimportant.

Then when you try and cancel they try and take some fee out to punish you for leaving.

Forget about Shinjiru.com, BAD HOSTING COMPANY. Horrible hostile and rude support.

In fact, you should investigate before ordering. International bandwidth is very expensive in Asia countries, in Australia too. That's why most ISP provides small international bandwidth. It's true that your Malaysian will surf much faster cause their national backbone is large, but from outside, it's a different story

I don't use Shinjiru service, but I can say that based-on my experience. If you need some where in Asia, try Hongkong, Singapore or Japan. But even in Hongkong or Singapore, I found sometimes it's slower than our system in the US!
