Adsense On A Forum - Is It Allowed If People Talk About "Banned" Topics?

    Hi there,

If I've got Adsense on a forum, and a member posts a thread about gambling, or about "paid to search" websites, is this against Adsense terms and conditions?

I mean would Adsense mind if their adverts were displayed on forums that discussed such matters? For example on this forum in the freebies section people sometimes mention "paid to search/click" websites, and Adsense is shown throughout the forum - so in this sense is Digital Point breaking Adsense conditions?

    Thanks for any help

Surely someone knows if it is against adsense terms and conditions if someone talks about banned adsense topics on a forum?...

    Thanks for any help

That's not allowed too, and so you need to moderate hard in a forum site.

What about on Digital Point when someone mentions the "paid to surf" websites?

    Thanks for the reply

Best way is to ask adesene about that....shoot them an email and let us know what they say. I would say you are fine as long as the ads arent in the posts.....but then again thats me...I have no clue....

Sorry for an old bump, but this was pretty much the same thread I wanted to start, so I figured it best to just get the thread moving again...
In many ways that would place Digital Point as a ToS violator, as well as many other forums.

Which kind of actually places google itself as a violator...search for prescription drugs and find ads for such things *boggle*

Anyone have a clue where they draw the line on such matters?

To be honest I think you can probably get away with running adverts on a forum that occasionally talks about drugs or whatever, just think you would have to be quite unlucky to get caught.
