No my friend, it is not crazy. It's reality. And it's very, very sad. So much for Reagan's "Shining City on the Hill".
The supreme court never had any business giving rights to al qaida that they didn't have in the first place. Of course, it does seem to be the new popular fad to be kind and sensitive to those who behead others. Apparently beheading others, targeting innocent civilians, using mentally challenged women and children for unsuspecting suicide bombing missions isn't worthy of outrage, but put a terrorist in a cell and force him to listen to Britney Spears for a few hours and OMG, the world is coming to an end. If the Supreme Court is going to change the rules, others should be able to insulate themselves from those new changes. Some seem to be more interested in the well being of terrorists then their own country.
The audacity of these guys. Unbelievable. They really have absolutely no respect for this country, or more importantly to me, the citizens of this country. Also - I don't really like Donald Trump. But he's right on in this interview.
It's sad to see that sympathy for terrorists is more important than the rule of law. After all, the "law" was changed midstream, even though the reporter was merely repeating "allegations" that have never been proved true.
but Gtech...the law doesn't REALLY matter....look at what is happening out west with the sheriff vs. illegals.
It's amazing, Bush and fellow terrorist Cheney can get away with anything, and there is nothing anyone can do about it because of the power these scumbags are afforded. This should make a lot of people angry but we still get people cheerleading these scumbags.
There's a lot of people who openly support terrorists that are upset about how they've cleaned up the world. Not everyone is grateful for that. Remember, AGS, you need to have an open mind. Not everyone supports the kind of people you do. Some people are sthensthitive to the plight of terrorists fulfilling their religious obligations to kill infidels, others are sensitive towards those that prevent them from doing so. Just depends on who and what you support
The real question here, isn't Ad Hominem attacks on other posters. It's whether or not the President's office is above the law. Btw, a good question for forum neocons is, if Bush isn't guilty of anything, why does he need retroactive immunity?
Since when is the high court making a ruling on current law 'changing laws, or changing the rules'? That's funny, I thought usually they say either something is legal how it's being done or illegal, NOT we now determine the law to be changed. I've noticed this being the argument many times to try to make it look like Bush did not break any laws....interesting.
When the high court reinterprets the law and makes a new ruling, it's called change. If there was not a new ruling specifying change, then it wouldn't be changed. Seems pretty straight forward. Blind hatred of a President, whether democrat or republican, doesn't automatically make them guilty of a crime. Wishing or "feeling" they may have, because one disagrees with them, doesn't either. Personally, I'm against giving rights afforded by our Constitution to enemies of our country. I realize that some are more sensitive to those enemies and their "plights," however, I am not. I wouldn't put a lot of stock into it though. The clip I watched above seems to be more "commentary" and "opinion" than any actual real reporting.
The court rules if the law is constitutional, or if the way it's being carried out is legal, they do not 'change it' they state yes it's legal or in fact what has been being done is ILLEGAL. Not 'oh ghee now it's illegal' pretty straight forward to me................ I'm against giving ANY one who is not a US citizen any protection under the constitution.. I however am for following the laws as our country has put them out there and or any treaties we are bound to..
Right on. You nailed that. I wish somebody would abolish te Supreme Court. They have never done one good thing.
