1. Anybody knows of any software that can tell me what adwords keywords converted to a sale on my Ecommerce website? 2. I have 12 key words out of my 32 keywords that have not had any clicks since I added them like 3 weeks ago but they do get impressions. Would it be wise to remove them??
1. If your ecommerce site is properly tagged - then Google Analytics should help 2. Before you remove your keywords, have you looked at free or semi-free stuff such as AdGooroo, iSpionage or SpyFu to see how your ads are placed and how they look in relation to others placing their ad in the same space?
you can just add the conversion tracking code to your checkout confirmation page do you have a page like this when someone submits an order?
Try to get your site to work with analytics and google conversion tracking. This is the easiest and cheapest solution. There are other more expensive solutions, but your talking anywhere from $500 - $10,000 per month. This is hard to say since I dont know what the keywords are. If the keywords are relevant to your product or services and make a better text ad. If they are vague and only kind of apply to your industry, then just delete them. Also what is the QS on those keywords. If they are all great, then no need to worry, just write a new text ad.
There's plenty of software out the that will tell you which keyword converted. The free one is googles own and it's great if you have access to the "thank you" page, which you do. Those 12 keywords may convert once a year, but if you remove them, you'll never know. That's 12 extra sales, so it really depends on what a sale is worth to you and if you're that patient...
QS?? CTR? the CTR on 16 of my keywords is 1.75% and above as high as 7.25%. But the average of those are about 2.75% or so The rest is are below 1% and alot are at 0% after weeks. Should i delete them? keywords does relate to my text ads directly. i have maybe 8 text ads
Uhm 1 was 228 and the rest is around 40 impressions with 3 keywords with around 4 impressions.. This campaign has been going for about 1 1/2 months.. Also why does google keep wanting to me to up my keyword bid?
They want you to up the bid because you are not converting clicks on the impressions so you need to cut the ones with impressions and no clicks as fast as possible. You need to keep your percent over 1.5 better 2.0 in my experience to avoid google slapping you with higher bids and you having to open another account.
