anyone ever do an online degree/diploma or certificate online

if so what was teh education institution you did it at?

 

Yeah, I did the Oracle Sql Database Engineers' certificate last year, all materials were online, as was the final exam

I find such degrees useless

 

Probably in the same way you find PR useless - ha ha ha!

I did it through a local college, whom had a certified Oracle database administrator working for them, who was therefore qualified to run the course. Everything - the learning - was done at home, the actual online exam was taken under supervision.

 

How do you take an online exam under supervision?

I'm taking courses toward an associates degree thru my local community college.

 

Nah. I hate these things.

 

Same as you'd sit a driving theory test

You go to a location, you sit the exam online, on a computer, supervised (ie. a tutor/authorative person in the room).

 

Ok, that makes sense. I was trying to imagine how they would have someone come out to your home... duh me. LOL
