Check out LinkShare in my sig. It's a great affiliate program with a huge selection of products to advertise.

Pixeltrader, your experience doesn't surprise me. Beware of datingsitebuilder.com. Johnnywhale is the owner of datingsitebuilder. I was looking for a dating script for a website that i wanted to set up and i'm pleased to say that i made a fast exit after doing research & never spent any money with them to be scammed.

I googled datingsitebuilder & up came a few reviews with many people unhappy with their service. Sorry i've only got any one link to provide, i did a search a few months ago with this & never bookmarked the sites, but you can try a search for yourself.

http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r202200-.html (Scroll to the bottom of the page & read the last post).

A lot of people have signed up with them and were put out of business because the downtime of their servers was pretty high! And when they're down, no notification is given to the webmaster of the dating sites, they have no way of accessing their control panel, members of the dating site get fustrated cos they don't know what's going on & the webmaster can't tell their members what's going on cos they don't even know! And when the sites are up & running, there is no apology or explanation, only to inform you that the server is back up & running.

I've read that people have signed up for their script under the month's money back guarantee & not been refunded or replied to when requested.

If you go to datingsitebuilder, it all looks pretty good, too pretty good to be true more like. Click on their FAQ and you get an extensive list of questions & answers that seem to cover everything, but it's all BS, it's designed to hook you in, but don't be fooled. I e-mailed every single one of their contact addresses (there's 6 of them) at least twice & all the mail came back undeliverable. Pixeltrader, take not of this. They used to advertise a contact phone number on their site, i rang this number over a few weeks & it was suspended, you couldn't phone them at all, note datingsitebuilder has now taken this phone number down. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe at present, their e-mail contact addreses work now but can you do business with a company that's as slack as that? Phone/e-mail not working for weeks, mayb even for months before i ever found this out.

I've gone to their site quite a few times & the site is down! You'll find datingsitebuilder is linked to a few sites that have adware, malware & spyware in them. If they are a reputable company, why would they allow for this to go on? Here are some links associated with datingsitebuilder that you should avoid, don't click on them if you don't want any viruses on your computer.

    www.webhosting.info/webhosts/reports/DATINGSITEBUILDER.COM

    www.webhosting.info/webhosts/reports/gain_details/DATINGSITEBUILDER.COM

I found all this out because i've installed web security guard on my computer which warns me of any sites with viruses before the site is loaded up. You can also configure web security guard to work not just for the crawler search engine which by default it works for, but you can configure it so that the web security guard works for yahoo and Google. I only just recently found this out accidentally, i can't actually remember how i configured it, i was only using crawler because of this security tool but now i use Google & yahoo cos they are better search engines. You can download web security guard free.

Go to http://www.websecurityguard.com/ and type the above risky links into the search box & the information will come up about those websites, rather than you taking the chance to visit them yourself.

I've read socialnetworker's comments about abledating scam & i'm just wondering if datingsitebuilder and abledating scam are one & the same company.

I've written this post because of a concern for other people. I don't like to see people being ripped off especially if they don't have much money in the first place. (People might have signed up with them cos of their low $29.95 per month, not being able to purchase a dating script outright). I'm not rolling around in big bucks and would have been devastated if i'd allow myself to have been conned by these guys but cos i'm such a very overly cautious person (sometimes to my own detriment), but in this case being like this has saved me from being scammed.

People with common sense & no money to waste should stay away from datingsitebuilder.

P.s And can you really trust dating software company that offers you millions of free profiles to start off with. Some of them may be fake, in any case, what about data protection laws, with selling or exchanging people's private details from one database to the next?

I was in hosting business before and I was so pissed with customers like you who just liked to complaint. How much did you pay a month? $30? $1 a day??

Jnex, did you use datingsitebuilder.com? What's your website? Dare to post it here? I personally use datingsitebuilder.com, here's my site bikram.datingsitemanager.com/ and I don't have any problem with them so far. It's not as bad as you said. Their response is quite fast, I got my response usually within 6 hours.

If you need perfect customer service and 100% uptime, you pay me $300 per month. I can guarantee it.

You could promote free hosting services like the ones offered via the Dietzel affiliate program. Free hosting would definitely convert with your target audience and the right traffic. Good luck with your new campaign.
