Yes, you can use debit card for you to verify paypal. I used it to verify my account but it took a while for them to verify it.

hello , it doesn`t metter what kind of card you using , prepaid and credit cards works the same way , if you have VISA electron or Classic visa credit card , you can use it Both worldwide at ATM machines with visa logo , and yes you can verify your paypal with your Debit (prepaid card)

Where are you from ? Make sure that the Debit Card you use has a VISA or Mastercard logo, can be used for international purchases, has a 3 digits CVV2 number printed at the back of the card and contents the 16 digits credit card number in the front.

Paypal would not limit your account but if they ask for your statement then send them the bank statement in which the debit card is attached to. It has to be a paper-statement and not an online statement. They will only do that if they are suspicious. Best to ensure the debit card you used is a bank-issued one.

Well, officially speaking if you are residing in Pakistan, you are not even allowed to register a paypal account so the debit card is not an issue.

It is true for the most parts. However I noticed that for some countries particularly India, the Debit Cards are for local use only where you can use in the ATM and in stores which supports them.

Then for some reasons, some countries deemed an ATM card as a Debit card which it is in a way and does not come with the VISA and MasterCard branding.

Some VISA Debit Cards are VISA Electron and may not be accepted in places which does not accept them.

I think that depend on the type of your debit card and also the issuer bank. I have 2 VISA debit cards from 2 different banks, but only one card accepted by paypal.
