Drupalis a product for people that want to make money and those without any technical know. The power of Drupal is unmeasurable.Drupal is 1st in the world and the 2nd is joomla. For example how much does it cost to pay someone to design a website that features have not limit? How much does it cost to buy a step by step drupal video tutorials from pound-investors.com These are tutorials created every person that knows nothing about web design and hosting. Joomla is not straight forward and needs alot of tweaks here and there.
Joomla with virtuemart component is the way to go ... cubecart and oscommerce are more than capable stores though.
Modx is by far the most powerful. It is also very modular. It gets my vote. Joomla and the like are for n00bs
Custom solutions tailored to your exact needs rather than shoe horning your requirements into an off the shelf solution get my vote. That said Dot Net Nuke isnt a bad attempt at an off the shelf open source solution.
are you saying drupal is the easiest one? casue i've always been told its has the steepest learning curve and you have to customize the crap out of it, i.e. no built in RichText editor (like wordpress), no out of the box image support (you need to download and install modules, just to upload images) I may be wrong tho, as I'm just a noob
Joomla with virtuemart component gets my vote as well. I've made two sites with that combination and it's worked out really well.
