I've tried Student Loan Debt Consolidation and it was only getting me 5 - 10 cents. Yesterday I tried "Lasik" and "Health" related topics and it only gave me 10 cents per click (I got around 43 clicks and only made $4.51, which is worst than my original topic where I was making 10 cents to 18 cents per click.)
You probably are smart priced. Im getting much lower these days (in a different niche but its in a industry similiar to health) probably for the same reason.
The top click i isolated was 19.90$ in august 2006 for the keyword "legal advice". It was the 1st of the day, if you know when the day begins....
I just posted about how my $ per click were going down the past few days. I just got two more: one for $.60 and another for $.98. Ups and downs. Hard to tell.
All of my sites currently make .$50 - $1.00 per click. All you need to do is find a niche that has tons of advertisers competing (type your keyword into Google and look how many Adwords ads are showing). Here's a tool to help you out: https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox?resultcacheid=1207941413864&mode=revise
If I get "Smart Priced" does that mean I will get no higher than a certain amount of $, in my case, 19 cents per click?
I usually get more than 50c a click yesterday got a clik worth $1.32 ! The same website then gave me a click of $0.15 I guess it depends on the niche you choose and keywords you use !
Mate I'm not sure what kind of website you have and where your traffic comes from but it seems like the visitors who click on the ads are not converting well for the advertisers = the visitors who click, don't buy the product that is advertised. Or you have a really low CTR and your smart priced. Delete your publisher ID from your Adsense code and put it back 2-3 days later. Miracles happen sometimes. He was clicking on his own ad, that he ran through Google adwords.
Good content in a high paying category is the key to big money on adsense. A lot depends on your content , if you have duplicate content the revenues are in the cents v/s dollars
i got once for 3 clicks like a bit more than $8. I was pretty amazed, that was the result from clicks from the search sponsored listings.
Higher number of sponsors is better. More sponsors means more ads can be served and more advertisiers competing for search placement.
I would be very happy at 15-20 cents per click. It seems impossible to get such clicks though. Sure, I'm getting some good paying clicks as well, but they're accidental, not something common.
