    a conference can be a great idea! however, given that many users are from asia (like me!) and other continents, maybe smaller gatherings can be held first - like an asian DP conference (duh) or something :D

    Even a conference in Asia would be a struggle for many. As you can see the idea just isn't feasible, even though it sounds good.
