getting links to my article site

my article site relies on people finding the articles on my site through google - how do i go about getting inlinks and traffic to these subpages in this manner, rather than simly the top level? don't want to miss any tricks so ideas appreciated

Just make sure you have keywords/descriptions/title/h1/h2 on every article page and continually build links to your index page. Along with building links, patience is also important. Also your site is good, are all the articles unique?

 

I think you could use some brag buttons for pubilshed authors to use on their own websites. The buttons could point back to that author's list of published articles. I think that would give authors an incentive to link.

 

That last idea looks viable.

very nice idea! i will implement that when i get some frequent authors

most articles are unique, i've only nabbed a few from other sites (uually on topics i knw absolutely nothing about)

and what version of firefox do you run? i've tested it across various platforms and machines and it seems fine :S

 

Maybe display the top articles, and maybe even 10 random articles... utilize that side bar...
