Do you make more than 50 cents per click?

I've been trying to find a keyword/topic that pays more than 25 cents per click to no avail.

I'm wondering how many people on here actually get more than 50 cents per click.

Maybe someone here will be generous enough to PM me the keyword for where I should be heading in building a new site.

Sometime I do, I have gotten 1.12 cent clicks before on one of my website. It deals with bodybuilding supplements, and alot of times it lists doctors and other clinics. I dont want to go onto much detail here but it works. although Im only getting around 100 uniques a day right now on the website so I only get clicked every couple days.

It all depends on the niche but 50 cents or more is not that difficult...

I used to get over $1 up until last week for one of my sites. I got .30, then .25, now .09 today.

    Quick question.

I am using keywordcountry to find some high avg paid keywords regarding my topics.

I'd like to know how the "# of sponsors" come into play.

Is it the lower the better or the higher the better?

I use to get $1-$2 per click with my current niche but now it's only 7 to 18 cents and I'm getting fed up ~_~

Many people try to figure this out but it is rare. Even the niches' that do make a good click price isn't really worth it becuase no keyword will be stable to always get a high price. I have a site which averages .18 cents a click, but everyday, at least 4 times it will get .80cents or higher.

You are not being a smart webmaster by looking for this, though. Instead of trying to figure out how to get a click to be worth more, you should just be trying to get more traffic for more clicks instead.

Heh. I'm majoring Electrical Engineering (still need to get my B.S), but I've been playing around with adsense since 2006 as a hobby.

My website gets around 1k-2k visitors a day and about 20-40 clicks per day.

    Anyhow, I have another question.

Should I aim for "short" high pay keywords or does it not matter?

Is it easier to hit the shorter 1 word high pay keywords rather than those long phrases?

Actually its pretty easy to see what would be easier by checking the search ratio of each. You probably already know this but...

    http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

-Type in one keyword at a time
-Whatever one has the highest number of searches will be harder.
-If it says zero that that keyword is junk

Any idea how the word "Lasik" is doing?

I'm thinking about building a website on Lasik eye surgery and such.

    Lasik
    CPC $16.90
    Avg CPC : $1.44
    Sponsors : 45
    Searches : 232,840
    Competitors : 1,290,000

    I don't know if it's accurate :(

Gaming pays pretty well... competitive keywords are like Nintendo Wii, PS3, Xbox360... usually paying .50-1.00...

    Hope that helps

    Interesting.

I've always thought gaming/arcade keywords pay really bad.

I'll take a look into it

    Thanks.

I'm currently giving the whole "health" theme a try on one of my domains.

I'll report back tomorrow on how it works out.

(I have about 3 different domains for testing keywords right now).

I have a photo directory that has been getting 1.50+ clicks lately. I believe most of them are from Wedding photographers bidding high.

    That's pretty cool

I don't think I'm going to try and build a wedding photo directory since I'm single and all

It's really impressive on how much those keywords are worth though.
