So my site has been running for almost a week. I have had around 7000 page views, 1000 a day & out of the 7000, 2500 of them are unique, this week i am going concentrate more on the content but a quick question around what stage does adSense make sense & profitable?
you should already be making some good revenue with adsense.... 1000 impressions per day is not bad for a start...
Try Adbrite or adengage If ur traffic goes upto 70,000 page views a week. (Thats after 2 months,I guess) Switch over to adengage!
I will reveal it soon & the blog but there is so many things i have 2 improve on first stay tuned i will keep you updated
one thing you should remember is that adsense keywords will pay differently.... i think you may have very low paying keywords... or maybe a really low ctr...
Referring Sites 2,836 (75.49%) Direct Traffic 753 (20.04%) Search Engines 166 (4.42%) Other 2 (0.05%) as you can see forums & the design of attractive sigs is working for me but as you can see i haven't fully utilized Search Engines, so i have a lot 2 do, i forgot youtube will play a big part as well & is starting 2 work
I'm honestly impressed, I have to say congratulations and you could get something great if you could properly set it up.
thanks, i am trying 2 get a few people on board 2 get it 2 the next level @ but obliviously i need 2 read up on adsense , search engines, backlinks or whatever it called. At the moment i'm using blogger.com but with my own domain. I think i have 2 move 2 wordpress in the summer 2 really maximize the potential
Hey Jason. If you're working on building decent Adsense revenues on this blog then it all comes down to strategy. That strategy in my honest opinion needs to center around building search engine traffic. Social traffic WILL NOT click your ads. Traffic doesn't mean shit if it isn't paying shit. Seriously look at where where all this traffic came from and wonder why you've made peanuts from it. It's not hard to work out. If you're focusing on building Adsense revenue it isn't critical for you to move to a WordPress powered blog. You don't need a beautiful site to make money with Adsense. Infact, from my own experience the uglier and more simple the design the better the CTR. If you're more into building a social type blog, then shit yes, move to WordPress. Add all the bells and whistles but don't focus on Adsense. Social traffic sucks for Adsense.
