Have google changed their algorythm again?

I noticed on the link sales forum that pagerank is not as important as it used to be. Can some one please explain why?

How can I get a site to page one? do I need to build more links and have better content? and do links with PR actually make a difference?

Pagerank is one of the factors that determine a sites ranking in Google SERPS.

Other factors might include domain age, time spend by vistor on site, onpage seo etc

Just build backlinks with keywords in anchor text + wait + add new content

 

You must get:

• quality backlinks
• quality content
• quality outbound links
• semantic code in your web pages
• good title pages
• good description (every pages must have a different description)
