You might try Chitika Linx. It has outperformed Kontera by far since I switched recently. I have heard the same from several publishers here. Oh, and a word about Widgetbucks...... I recently decided to test Widgetbucks. I had that $25 sign up bonus and wanted to get to $50 to cash it out. So I put a Widgetbucks leaderboard on my sites. Then I checked it in a couple of days. For an entire days stats, the report showed almost 4,000 impressions and only 10 clicks!!! I know this can't be true, because I have tested many different programs leaderboards, and have never got less than around 45-50 clicks on a leaderboard in that same spot on that many impressions. So I honestly do believe that they cheat publishers. I wondered how they could afford to give everyone a $25 sign up bonus. Now I know that its because only a tiny fraction of those who got the sign up bonus ever reach the payout amount!! Needless to say, I removed WB ads from my pages. And as I mentioned, Chitika has rocked for me as an Adsense supplement, plus it is compatible to run alongside Adsense on the same website, just read it on the Chitika website.....
I read on your blog about how Chitika has not yet displayed your "audited earnings". That is kind of discouraging. Chitika had been performing very well since implementing it a week ago. But since Kontera is on the rise, I am switching back. I am on a merry-go-round. I guess that is the only way to really test these out. To go back and forth. I do agree that Kontera does seem to actually care about their publishers. Other than a couple of payment issues that were eventually taken care of, it does indeed seem that they have outstanding support in a world where affiliate programs seem to care less about the publishers. Kontera had done some changes which caused the delay in payment. But they apologized, and they are even paying publishers for when they were down in early march (here is that letter they sent to publishers) So I don't need any more reason either to return to Kontera over Chitika!
I got the same e-mail from Kontera and was very impressed with their communication and support. The whole "unaudited income" thing with Chitika is pretty unattractive. Plus, Chitika focuses primarily on products. If you site is about more than specific products, they have trouble matching good ads. I think Kontera does a much better job from that perspective. We've been VERY pleased with Kontera so far... Been using them about 5-6 months now.

Any add revenue as a plus It all ads up. Adsense is the topdog on mysite and any revenue added by another advertising company is appreciated.
I just wanted to report that my first Chitika Linx payment was issued the other day. It turns out that my Chitika Linx "audited earnings" were 20% less than the "unaudited earnings". So in summation, Kontera revenue is equal to if not better overall than Chitika. Looks like Kontera is the best program to supplement Adsense on the same page.
Kontera brings in very little money for myself. Just about ten dollars per month. The words with the ads that people may accidentally scroll over is not worth the few bucks I make per month through, so I have taken them down. Plus Kontera seemed to make my page load longer.

As you can see I have been testing between Chitika Linx and Kontera for a while now. Yeah, I was skeptical at first, worried about Kontera taking away clicks from the higher earning Adsense ads, but after extrensive testing, that was not the case. And many other Kontera users will back this up. I make substantially more than a few dollars a month from Kontera, so it certainly has paid off for me. Also, I get approx 8,000 visitors a day to my websites, and am highly accessable to my users. I have never once received a single negative comment about Kontera ads. Not a single person has ever even mentioned anything.
VibrantMedia == IntelliTXT ?? I tried Kontera for almost a years or so, and earned $15 or something lyk tht from an automotive site that gets about 120k-150k pageviews a month. Kontera's pay-per-click is very much lower. So I just removed them and was searching for a secondary monetizing program beside Adsense for sometime. Applied to MIVA MC their disapproved my sites, tried to get in by negotiating, I was tolf to re-apply with a new username but their system was buggy. Tried applying at Vibrantmedia Intellitxt, got approved, running their ads now. Their CTR is low, has to get a lot of impressions to get few clicks, maybe it is normal with inline ads. But their pay-per-click is higher, at times higher than Adsense, so it sums up in a way. April was my 1st month with them, earned $30 something for around 100 clicks, not that bad compared to Kontera and afterall this is an added secondary revenue stream along side Adsense..
Has anyone had any success with using the new Chitika Premium ads? My Chitika Linx earnings seem to have dipped sharply the last 5-6 days.
No one seems to click Premium ads as Chitika says, i have been them running them on a low traffic (but targeted) for the last 4-5 days 138 impressions - 2 clicks - $0.02 revenue
