PHPBB or SMF or VBulletin for Career Counselling forum???

I am thinking of opening a career counselling forum for under graduates. So can you help me which script should I use???

Also If Vbulletin is best among them then how much does it cost??

 

Yes you are right. Vbulletin is the best if you can afford to buy a license. Otherwise I'd suggest PhpBB.

Thanks for the reply but after seing the prices, I came to the conclusion that I cannot afford Vbulletin.

 

I would personally take SMF over phpBB if you are looking for a free option.

While this is out of your price range, I thought I would point out that IP.Board is a very nice forum option and I have found it to do the job better than vBulletin.

You may want to try out myBB as well, it is another nice free option that should give you the features that you need.

PhpBB3 more secure now? I know had a few PhpBB forum before and they got hacked all the time so i stopped, is VB secure?

 

i can't imagine it not being secure, look at this place.

if your willing to pay go with vB, and smf is the better choice
among the free forum software packages out there.
