$200 per week?!

I am currently building a website and my earning target through adsense (or other means of advertising) is $200 and I was just wondering how many clicks/impressions I would need to meet this target?

The site is UK based and the niche is students/universities etc

 

hmm it all depends on how much each licks end up being worth

one click could be anywhere from half a cent to 20 bucks, its just too hard to estimate what that would be, you should be able to do the math after you get an average for your site after a couple months

 

And this will depend on what keywords you are using. Optimize your site with high paying keywords.

 

To hard to tell, but either way you would probably need a few hundred thousand visitors a day

 

It's true, it's too hard to estimate the number of clicks. You may have a million of site visitors each day, but if they don't click on the ad, then nothing happens to your account.

 

It is very hard to say,the only thing you can do and should do is make more unique content and build backlinks as many as possible to your site.

 

It really depends on the click-through rate and how much Google pays you from each ad. It would be too hard for anyone here to say exactly how many visitors or clicks you would need.

 

I would say at least 1000 clicks for $200.
A lot more if you get SmartPriced.

Its a matter of your website viewers, you may have more than 1000 viewers a day and just 10 clicks from them, and you may have 100 viewers a day and all click your adsense ads, offcourse you will earn more.
Also, the place of your ads on your website (up, down, middle), colors and so on in order to make the viewer clicking on your ads.

Figure $0.05 - $0.10 per click. Some niches might be more, but that seems about average. That would be 2000-4000 clicks to get to $200. Figure a 2-4% CTR and you need 50,000-200,000 impressions for the week. That would be 7,000-30,000 impressions/day. A unique visitor probably averages 2-5 pageviews for most sites, so you're looking at:

1,400 - 15,000 daily unique visitors
7,000 - 30,000 daily pageviews
285-570 daily clicks

Of course, things could skew further than that in either direction, but most sites will fall in (or close to) that range.

 

Depends really some sites get $.01 a click some get $1

 

Depends on your niche, sustaining the amount, keeping and increasing constant traffic, optimizing your ads.

You could get this from 200 clicks, or you could get it from 10,000 clicks, it all depends on the niche

 

entirely depends on your niche. some niche will pay you fraction of a penny, others xx amount of dollars

 

200$/week that's like 800$/month hmm well at least 2-4 k visitators / daily

 

Your earnings will only grow over time once your site has secured a position in search engines and gets lots of traffic.

 

it really depends how much each click is worth... if you are getting 10 cent clicks... then you need 2000 clicks... if you are getting $1 per click, then 200 clicks...
