Article writers, what do you so after you are done with your clients?

    Hi Article writers,

Being a professional writer myself I was wondering what other writers do after they are done with their orders. Some of you lucky guys may have continuous orders but still it is curious to know whether anyone has any idea to earn some extra money when you are waiting for orders.

I stumbled upon a buyer that buys articles on certain niches anytime. Pay is low but still I think it makes sense to work on a lean day. I would like to hear from all of you.

    Thanks
    Alevoor
PS: you can PM me for any information

Note to moderators:I am not sure whether this is the appropriate forum for this. I will move it to the one that is more appropriate one if you tell me.

One of the things I do is seek out magazines and information sites that are in need of writers. They generally pay much more per article than what is normal and they fill in the gaps most times.

That is a great idea. Magazines always pay better. I sell articles to websites that buy content constantly. The best part of this is there are no timetables which suits me. I am willing to share this information. Please PM me if anyone is interested.

Fortunately, I never have any lulls. I think that's because I'm always on the hunt for more work, even when I have work.

    Hi Alevoor

I guess you could call it habit, but like WAHMBrenda, I'm always looking for more work even when I have work to do, especially when I anticipate a potential lull is on its way. Where it differs is in the energy I put behind it. If I have a lot of work on, then I tend not to look/apply for as many gigs.

Have you considered offering a side service to your clients? For example, proofreading, marketing, web design?

    All the best...

Oh yes, that's a good idea to take. But as fr me, I try to build links to my sites through exchanging links or by submitting articles.

By the way, I liked your signature:)

When I am not boggled down by work I write articles on subjects I know that are hot at the moment and sell them in packages. There are a few subjects such as fashion, health, skin care, insurance, and other niches that people are always buying for so in my spare time I write on them to sell.

Interesting. You write articles at your spare time. Even Manisht07 seems to be doing the same.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your idea.

Do you mean fresh, new articles? Great, hope it sells for good money.

Btw, I have pile of about 3K articles that built up after selling them but I am not aware whether I can sell them. Anyone has a clue?

If you sold all the rights to the buyer, then obviously you cannot sell them.

Oh! You are right. Buyers are the legal owners of articles.

By the way, I have answered all PMs till now. If I have missed replying to someone, I would like them to PM me again. Thank you.

Not a problem. Here are a couple of them.
    Constant content
    JVAuthors

For the moment, JV Authors seems to be down. But it pays to be there.
If you are looking for some more real online earning opportunity, you may want to take a look at my blog http://thatfewdollars.blogspot.com/

I have only listed all real ways to earn a few bucks, however small they are.
