Sure, insurance is a good paying niche, but the reason it is high-paying is that there's a lot of competition. If you build a web site for the niche, you will be placing yourself in the middle of that competition. You will have great difficulty getting traffic and good search engine rankings. So, while each click on your ads will be high-paying, you won't get many clicks, because you won't get much traffic, because you can't compete with the other sites in the niche.
Just target your adsense niche towards a high paying niche like insurance and target your search engine keywords towards less competitive keywords, but make sure you change your adsense keywords every few months to avoid smart pricing. Its quite simple if you have traffic
