Does AdWords stop delivering traffic when my landing page is unavailable?

I'm having a problem with my webhosting, my landing pages are going on and off.

Is it better to pause all campaigns until webhosting problem gets resolved or does AdWords stop delivering traffic when the landing page is not available?

Some time ago I remember seeing a note in the AdWords CP that my ads are not being displayed because the landing page is not available.

Do you have any experience with this?

google doesn't. I remember how funny it was when i sometime clicked PPC ads and they led me to error page unavaillable. i suggest you take your campaigns off immediately.

I've never seen that message before.

What I do know is, your ads will continue to show no matter what the landing page situation. Pause your campaign immediately.

Google will not pause your campaign for you - however I seem to remember someone mentioning a product that would pause your campaigns automatically if it noticed your landing page was offline... I can't remember the name though.

You would think google would implement something in their system to disable ads in the event of getting a page load error. But let's be honest they are getting your money no matter what so it is doubtful that they will look at this anytime soon.

You realize that something like this would force Google to request HTTP headers for EVERY destination URL in their system at a specified time period, right? That's a HUGE task, and totally unnecessary.

Google doesn't care if your site is up or down. You pay for the click regardless. There's no way they would ever make a tool like this.
