Not sure how long it will last - but the first thing I'm going to do with the extra money that has come out of this, is get the best copywriter I know to revamp it.

**I also noticed that no matter what MY commission is set to for affiliates, I made an error: Somewhere on the forum recently there was a discussion about commission maximums, I stand corrected, the maximum an affiliate can make is $100 no matter what my price is or commission is set to... So I will be giving monthly amazing bonuses to those that do convert this well...

I thought I was going to simply give the free copies away and let it continue to sit there, now that an affiliate has converted 3 times already, I'm going to go back and rework the site a bit. Realistically this could be making us all quite a bit of money, and though I'm doing well, I did overlook the possibilities of this give-away, which has suddenly both revived this promo and skyrocketed my product through the charts!!

This whole effort has turned into quite the excersize and case study, shall i make an ebook about it? jk.

As you may or may not know, I was one of the lucky winners of ProjectWealthy, due to a random stroke of good luck...

However, when I'd won, it made me realise something...I don't really need it!!

I already make a pretty decent living as a full time online marketer, but there are people here that are really struggling or just starting out or whatever, and they could really use a helping hand...

I am a relative new affiliate marketer. Here is my tip/s.
Quality content is very important. Build your website or pages around this. Provide useful & relevant content for visitors to your site to ensure that not only do they browse, but that they return.
Also, take a chance on CB products with low gravity. I have had success with products that are not ranked high in CB.
I also run two ads for the same product to see ad converts better.
And research is important. When I identify a niche, I search for forums relating to my niche to pick up tips on promoting the product. From these forums and web searches, I am able to write articles or create a Squidoo page with the information gleaned.
That's my 2 cents, and if I don't win the last copy of Project Wealthy, hopefully it will help another new marketer.

 

I'm not making loads like some people here, so I can't give any marvelous tips.

However, I will say and agree with those that say, do what you like and have some passion in. It really does make 'work' more like a hobby. Things won't seem boring and pointless. Instead, you'll feel like you really want to update your site, change the design, or even do 'boring' things like directory submission.

Sure, have a goal set for some income, but don't look just at that. When I started building one of my sites, I was ready to put AdSense on it. Instead, I decided I really wanted the site to reflect who I was and I decided to make it ad free, hoping to pull in more users.

The satisfaction of my site actually being used by people sometimes is better than actually getting paid.

In the end, what I'm saying is do what you like and don't focus solely on money.
