Maby its a Top secret proxy site. Only the elite people know how to get into it. hha The domain was registered way in 1994 btw, I'm curious as to what this domain has been used for all these years. Maby archive.org has something on it. Edit: Appears it owned a by company called "proxy communications corporation" http://www.proxy.net/ Proxy.com from archive.org 1996 crawled page confirms that same owner "Bernard Becker" in the footer and also says proxy So not only do they reg proxy.com they also got the .net too. lol Little do they know there is alot of us that would pay a high amount money to get our hands on that domain, and here they are just letting proxy.com sit and rot
Never really understood the smart pricing as I have old adsense account and use it on a proxy that is over a year old and it still manages to make as much as a new one. What has always worked for me is rotating the ads and url bar around and rotate templates once in a while to through off the regulars and keep changing the content and updating the adsense filters Would like a heads up if you ever get firm facts about this. As many sites offer a variety of services on there sites so I dont see how making a regular site and happening to drop a proxy url bar on it would violate anything. With a line above it saying try a new way to surf the web. Then never advertise it as a proxy run it as a regular site and only promote the fact it has a proxy included via newsletters

Ok this is getting crazy. I just do not understand it. Adsense Page impressions 611 with 9 clicks made .18 today adbrite shows like 15k Page impressions and made .30 From what i understand is that it may be foreign traffic causing this so how can i find out if i am getting a lot of foreign traffic. When i use ftp to look at host all i can pull up is traffic and where it is coming from like yahoo or google but not telling me what countries. Is there any jope getting my ctr back up to .50 to $1 per click again. This would be a good network since i am getting good traffic but .02 a click is killing me i will never be able to pay hosting at this rate.
Use Sitemeter or statcounter to see the geography of your traffic. Sign up and put the tracker on the footer of your homepage. It can tell you by country of your visitors. I would not recommend putting the tracker on the proxified pages though. They might delete your account becuase how the high impressions that proxies create. It is free, but that might seen as abuse or over using your free account. I would Use Google analytics for proxy pages.
Add Google Analytics next dont even worry where the traffic is coming from you kno the countries you dont want so just do htaccess on as many ip ranges as you can unless you have geoip blocking then just block the country. Even though its my belief that a newer site that gets added to the fliters would last longer in the long run if you just dont ban any ips and let all those people add links to sites saying they can use your proxy then after a month or so ban all the countries. This way you waste some bandwidth in the beginning but they advertised your site for you. That just my 2 cents.

I was able to add their banner on the home page and in proxied windows but no luck with the inline ads. Well last month i got a TON of hits, i dont have the exact number as i switched hosts. But i get alot, and im trying for page 2 on google, im on page 4 right now.. Im hoping to start a network of like 50-100 proxies but first i need to be able to afford them, 100 would be 1000 for the domain renewals normally and hosting would cost a TON... I made 150 so far from ad sense today too, 2 people bought referal things so i got 48.00 on each. =)
