    Guys,
We are launching a brand new website next week. I am writing down SEO plan for it. It has significant flash and images, so bear that in mind and please be generous in your thoughts.
I am starting the list here:

    1) Optimise all Title tags on all pages( presuming I would have done keyword rsearch)

So please add on the list, no repeats please, and simply help me to get as many good points as possible.

    2) Rebuild you're site using little or no Flash.

    3) Include in your <h1> the keyword anchor text you want to rank for
    4) Write articles for articles directories and include a backlink to your website

Well I guess you're screwed for a "proper" SEO campaign.

But seeing as I'm feeling nice and in a good mood today I'll send you here to have a read and see if you can apply this to you're site.

If you use flash, at least make sure that every page is accessible through static links.

Thanks all the guys, keep'em coming.
KingPin thanks for the article, and regarding Flash I look at it as a challenge not a setback.

It IS a setback. How often do you see flash website ranking high? Very rarely.

I agree totally, that's what I love about Flash sites. Although I would never recommend them, I do work on them.

    Good luck with it.

Yeah flash is a pain in the butt. Are you using any SEO software? May want to give Web CEO a try, you can download it for free.

    .

Would you turn away a client with Flash site simply because its not run of the mill?
I agree with KP, its a challenge, though I wouldn't willingly go out and make a Flash site for myself.

Guys please dn't distract...keep rolling the points...

If they have high expectations, yes I'd turn them away.

Don't bother downloading WebCEO as mentioned above because it's a pile of poo.

Ok the heres the real deal with Flash sites. Because you can't do much with them on-site, it all comes down to how effective your back link strategy is.

My suggestion would be to do the on-site basics, title, description and so on but concentrate more on building quality links.

Write good press releases, article marketing, become a guest blogger on a blog in the sector which the site is targeting.

    1. Backlinks

    2. Static links on page as mentioned above ^

    3. Anchor text of the back links should be semantically related to the static ones on your site.

    4. Article submissions (to get the most back links out there)

PM me if you want a list of article submission sites or if you need anything else
