I have an idea - need some opinions

Hey guys,

I am thinking of doing a 2 hour conference with people who are trying to learn how to make logos/banners etc. Anyway, basically I will spend the 2 hours explaining to them, different techniques, answering questions, different ways to approach work, where to find work etc.

My questions are:
What should I charge? I was thinking around $50/2 hours (1 free enter)
How many people? I was thinking 10 in each group

So yeah, all the person will need is just a free trial of photoshop and the will to learn as well as the $50 fee to participate.

What do you guys think?

This sounds like a good offer $50 for 2 hours seems fair.

Do you mean a tele-seminar or a live conference?

Either way, they are both very good- just make sure that you have a good recording of it because you can keep advertising it afterwards and sell it for a residual income.

 

Well it is not actually an audio thing like a seminar is. It is more of a smaller group that is done via skype, msn, etc whatever most people have. That way if anyone has questions during the whole thing we can easily go over them.

 

Definitely sounds interesting! I can't make logo's worth crap lol. I'd say somewhere in the $40-50 range would be fair since people would be able to use those skills to enter logo contests at DP,etc.
