Getting targeted ads for a particular keyword

How do i get ads targeted of a specific niche on my site? For example if i've got a webpage about dogs but i want to see adsense ads about Terrier Dogs, how do i achieve that?

I've seen there are ads about terrier dogs on other sites, but on mine, it is just showing general dogs ads. Is it something to do with keyword density?

    Anybody have achived that before?

    thanks,

Yeah, the article is like 550 words long with keyword density for "terrier dogs" less than 2%.

Is your article on its own page or is it surrounded by other content/text that may be influencing the ads?

The article is on its own page and i've got google_ad_section wrapped around the content as well. It's been more than a month now but the ads are more general than specific. If i use the arrows for the adsense block, i can find the ad about terrier dogs on the fourth click. Is there any way to have that ad displayed first in the adsense block?

Im not sure to be honest, from what you have mentioned it sounds like your doing all you can to try and target it specifically, i dont know what type of site your using but would meta tags help at all, saying that you probably already have them in place.

Yep, got meta tags and meta desc in place as well. Guess i'll have to experiment to see how i can specifically target that word.

Ohh, thanks for your help all along :)

I suggest you use those words frequently so that relevant ads are shown .Also it will take some time for relevant ads to show up !

Make sure your page has an artilce on Terrier Dogs , also ensure that the keyword density of Terrie Dogs is about 4 % ....Google will start displaying ads sensing your content
