Have been adding eBay partner links (not commision junction) to my PR3 discography (www.guide2prince.org) site but their traffic reporting doesn't seem to be reporting any impressions at all! Anyone have any experience with the new eBay setup? Page for example http://www.guide2prince.org/esps9290587.htm - the page is showing correctly targeted eBay ads to right hand sde but eBay is reporting 0 impressions ?
Make sure you have the "Impression Pixel" in your code...I didn't have it for a week, and figured it out.
having googled it i think "impression pixel" is commision junction not eBay's own affiliate program, i'm still getting the same problem though
I had the same problem with Commission Junction. I have now signed up to ebay Partner Networkbut have not installed any code yet. I will wait to see the outcome of this thread.
I just made the switch on a few of my sites. I will have to check my stats and see if all is working.
have solved the "impressioin pixel" thing it's only avaiable on certain of the eBay linking tools. Have added eBay widget to quite a few pages at www.guide2prince.org but i don't feel that eBay is reporting impressions accurately (if at all) will continue adding and hope that the problem is with eBay and not with me - the eBay links appear to be working and showing relevant items etc so i'm a bit baffled to be honest :-(
After closer viewing I am confused on the accuracy too. I show 20 impressions and 94 clicks. I would think the opposite could be true. On the site I have added to I have RSS feeds utilized and a widget on one page. We shall see how it unfolds.
its definately buggy... my searches were just random yearday but today back on target.... not reporting impressions properly either!
What sucks is making sales of over 1000 bucks and getting only a dollar or two commission! Is anyone else having this problem??? John
