Are article-submissions worth it?

Is submitting articles being regarded as 'Search engine optimization' ??
Does submitting the same article across many article-sites actually help the links within the article?

Article submission is part of link building. I suggest writing more articles and then submitting them would help more rather than submitting only one article and wait for the result.

 

Yes i think it, those links are not having any value that passes good pr to our website.

 

I'm not agree with you my friend still google crawl the article pages and if your content have good quality and uniqueness then you will surely get the benefit on ur optimization

Its better not to put all the eggs in the same basket and wait for the one article to be crawled....instaed write 3 to 4 articles and do submissions!!

 

Technically I would not call this seo. The way I see it, seo is concerned to optimize the content of your site to make it more attractive to search engines. I would put it into guerrilla marketing or viral or whatever, although everything is tightly related.

But I might be wrong

And yes, article submission is worth it.

 

As long as you're not using one article to spread it around various article submission websites it should work. But it takes loads of blood sweat and tears (as virtually any type of link building activity) to get results from article submissions.

Many of high-quality link submission sites also doesn't allow links in text body. They allow it in "about author" box. It makes whole process even more difficult.

I'm a noob. Been working SEO on my site for about 3 months and gained over 84,000 backlinks in less than 3 months. In my opinion, writing 30-40 articles and submitting to 800 directories is junk. You are better writing 1 article to submit to only one directory.

10 unique articles is better than 1000 articles submitted 10,000 times. Unique is gold. This is my opinion and I could be wrong.- but it's what I practice.

as long your article is unique article directory will bring you traffic.
my directory allow link in text body, but its high-quality link sites? you decide...

 

From article submissions, you will get back links + traffic too.

One of my articles got syndicated to a pretty authorative site, and the page it is on has a PR4 (one of my better links). I would say it is deffinatly worth it.

 

Article submission can generates backlinks to your site. Make sure to put keyword that you target to an anchor text with url which you point.

 

You should also consider article writing as a brand awareness and marketing strategy. At first, write a few original content filled articles, and post them on to sites that have high visibility.

After a few months, post the articles on your site only, and direct readers to visit your site to read the complete story - that way get links, traffic and ultimately, $$$

 

You can make one or two articles and make them spin, so you won't have to submit the exact same article twice.
